for some reason i was thinking FS1E not FZ1S , then i read the bit about R1 engine forks etc and i thought W.T.F........doh!:doh!:

I have been out to the garage and checked....it is definately an R1 engine lol.........some chap did put an RD400 engine in an FS1E frame, I bet that was a laugh!

It is about 40bhp shy at the top end. I have ridden a 2006 R1 and would say that there is not much in it

Look forward to seeing some pics of your work. I will leave mine standard because:

1. I am skint
2. I have no talent
3. I have less imagination!

The fazer was tuned for midrange torque, and matt is right or was it radar?........it is about 40bhp down on the R1 sports bike.
