Mine has a stepped yoke which has gained me an extra 25mm of length ,they've also been rebuilt with heavier springs. Handling wise its hard to say as out of maybe the last ten years I've spent 8 of them riding bandits with USD forks so I'm used to them. I can say that when I rode this bike with standard forks it felt like an oil tanker to get round bends where as now it feels fine and isnt twitchy in the slightest

Well those forks look like a good height to be honest.

With those forks foz had to make up a stepped top yoke to get some of the height back  easy enough to do & fos made a tidy job of it

Seat unit is still fat tho mate :big grin::lol::lol:

Stepped top yoke?

Forks are shorter than stock so if you aint happy with it being a bit nose down you need to get the height back !, the choices are mucho expensive one off billet yoke this sort of shape  __/===\__  Eg stepped down from the top nut to reach the forks or........... as foz has done weld another pair of fork clamp bits from an old yoke on to the bottom of the top yoke so you can push the forks down a bit & still be able to clamp them up
