My old ET sprintbike on the road
« on: March 23, 2014, 08:52:20 AM »
Just bought a running ET off Busa ash. Hoping to put it on the road very soon and a bit later doing a few sprints and RWBs. Hoping it will look something similar to my old bike. Still looking for parts without going mad on high performance , expensive stuff. I do need some good carbs and either a long swingarm or ideally removable extensions. Any offers of help or parts greatly received.

Nice one, so what are you missing?

Pair of 33mm smoothbores on ebay ending today.  I had a set of these on my GS1000.

Picked ET "bobber" up from Busa Ash's mate Paul yesterday.

I have a headlight and tail unit, sidepanels, a ESD seat and a GSX tank
I need the rubbers to fit headlight to fork brackets, tank rubbers, tank filler cap, headlight binnacle and clocks, extended Bandit 1200 swingarm, side plastics , between panels and tail. Loads of other bits to find.

Got my mate's bloody CBR600 engine change in progress, then a little work on the NC30 before Brands trackday, then I'll get stuck into the ET. Still gathering parts for now.

Not touched it yet mate. Been working on vfr400, getting ready to sell, to raise money for gsx. Bought an airshifter kit off Dynomutt, not received it yet though? Still trying to source a bandit 12 swingarm, so bill can get some extensions made for it. Found a brand new gsx tank. Only 300 quid from a stealer, so I gave the appropriate reply!!!
