XJR1300
« on: April 13, 2019, 10:17:48 PM »
I bought this XJR a year ago now. It was bog standard when I got it! Good nick for a 16 year old bike though. First thing I did once the deposit was payed was get on to Ebay for a set of stubby cans to replace the standard cannons!

Much better!

Last wee while Ive been getting a bit pissed off with the shitty "Ohlins" shocks on it. As soon as you start having fun the back end would start bouncing about  :(

So after looking about and seeing what I could afford I settled on a set of YSS rear shocks. They seem very good value for a fully adjustable set, good bit cheaper that Maxton, Nitron, Ohlins etc....

They are a little bit longer so got rid of the Jack up kit. Not had a chance to get out for a run and set them up, thats tomorrows job, hopefully!

Still more to do. Undertray and indicators to fit at some point. Wouldnt mind a fork ugrade atsomepoint as well

Vast improvement over standard! Not even adjusted and feel better, cornering was a lot easier and comfortable
