In the meantime ive got a R1 front wheel (atlast), got another belly pan that im gonna chop up, changed the carbs back to the rejetted EFE carbs..and...... still not found a suitable tank. :banghead:

Well i may have to give up my crown of longest bike build on DTP.

Bike has sat in somebody elses garage now for around a year, and my hands have been tied as to being able to work on it.

It started out as just a slightly tarted up 750 and 2 frames and 4 engines later ended up as a very trick 1170.

Question is do i carry on twiddling my thumbs, or sell it as it is seeing as im unable to finish it on my own due to lack of funds and more importantly now lacking a workshop full of equipment.

Will spend a bit of time making my mind up, but if anyone is interested in buying the lot (and theres a lot of stuff with it) let me know via PM and ill post a list up of the specs and all the spares (and pics when i can find a lead to fit my camera).

if it does go id sooner shift it all in one go and not start parting it out.

To be honest i could of done 3-4 different bikes out of what ive had, then not been 100% happy with and swapped or sold on, (bodywork/wheels/engines...) but it got to a point where ive just thought fuck it,no half measures, why not go OTT, you only live once, might as well build the kind of bike i used to drool over as a youngster.
