Sure it was fuel and not water? If it was an air leak the revs would normally be hanging. Might be worth checking how tight they are if you still have it apart, but what ever you do dont over tighten them and strip the thread. Probably better to see how much it taken to undo them rather then see if they will do up any tighter.

Yeah its like an oily watery substance.rev's are hanging quite alot just been on a good spin and seems like the cam chain has got very noisey since i balanced the carbs.

theres a common problem with restrictor kits being fitted causing air leaks because bolting metal to metal doesnt perform a good seal, might be worth getting some sort of sealant and sealing them up properly if they havent already.

No i watched him fit them he just went metal to metal,what sealant would be good and i'll get some?

ye thats no good that will be causing an air leak and running problems, they need sealing down onto the head, i think people use hylomar but im not sure as i havent done it, im sure someone on here will be able to tell you what they have used.

yeah hylomar should do it. Just dont put too much on or it will squidge out from the surfaces and interupt the flow of fuel to the head. High temperature silicone like silicone exhaust sealant is good too :)
