Since the build the FCR's have had the standard #88 mains for use with an airbox so basically with the funnels the bike wouldn't go above 8K rev's.
Not a bad thing for the first few weeks as the motor hasn't been used in years and a nice gentle way to waken it up again.
Today I upped the mains to #132.5 and slow jet to #48
What a fucken difference that has made
Just about to go out and see if I can do some on board vids with camera round neck but basically it hits a rev limiter at 15.5K and in 2nd gear that's indicating just over 160 Km/H about 100MPH, allowing for clock error maybe 90MPH. In third and at around 13K the needle is off the clock
Need to fit Davw's MPH clocks sooner rather than later
Have a BEET derestricter plugged into the clocks , I've got a new Red Rev sitting in a box so will try that to establish any diffrence.
BTW, this is still the standard H2 motor with 33mm FCR's
