Ferkin Yea Ha !

Post by Mori Man »

Finally managed to do some jetting today :smt001

Since the build the FCR's have had the standard #88 mains for use with an airbox so basically with the funnels the bike wouldn't go above 8K rev's.

Not a bad thing for the first few weeks as the motor hasn't been used in years and a nice gentle way to waken it up again.

Today I upped the mains to #132.5 and slow jet to #48

What a fucken difference that has made :excited

Just about to go out and see if I can do some on board vids with camera round neck but basically it hits a rev limiter at 15.5K and in 2nd gear that's indicating just over 160 Km/H about 100MPH, allowing for clock error maybe 90MPH. In third and at around 13K the needle is off the clock :smt004

Need to fit Davw's MPH clocks sooner rather than later :smt003

Have a BEET derestricter plugged into the clocks , I've got a new Red Rev sitting in a box so will try that to establish any diffrence.

BTW, this is still the standard H2 motor with 33mm FCR's :smt026

Hopefully back with a vid' later today if not late tomorrow as off to the track tomorrow to watch some Zed's racing :smt004

MM!
