H1 on its last legs

Post by Bayford89IOW »

Well guys, i think to be honest the old girls on its way out. Unfortunatly thats what comes with a bike thats not been looked after previously and its age. I recently had the reg-rectifier fixed but theres still a starting problem while cold, the battery is dieing again and i think my starter relay (is a brass/gold covered cylinder shaped thingy connected to the positive coil of battery) has a 20 fuse in it but its labeled to have a 30? not sure if this is correct or that u can even get a 30 fuse? (i hate electrics so i have no idea). Fork seals are going, bodywork has been sprayed recently so its decent condition however cracks are starting to take form and several mounting points have snapped over the years i guess. engine wise when its running its fine, got a little bit of a stutter but thats because of restrictors at the manifold. Also speedo is in kph with a motrax converter on it, needs new speedo cable.

If anybodies interested in the old girl lemme know, its money that will go towards a newer zxr :) Only reason i give you guys the option is because i imagine it to be more useful to somone on here than to see it scrapped when part ex'd.

I have a H1 that i keep trying to sell.... £250 without the engine and exhaust, its currently in race bike trim. 4 wheels, wouldn't cost much to put in an engine and go racing.

your right, they show in my outbox, when i clicked send they just sat there. I tried to send it again and it just went into my outbox again. Strange. I definately clicked send too rather than save.

I'm in Wakefield, west yorks.
