Re: Finally finished my exhaust bracket
personally, i'd try hammerite first. if it doesn't stand up to your boots then you can strip it back off and you've only wasted a few quid and a bit of time, and then you can try something else.
real answer of course is that you need some rearsets with carbon fibre heel plates

your absolutely right deviant! I know for sure Nitromors is good stuff so ill go do that today! Quite looking forward to getting them done actually! Obviously rearsets with carbon plates will do nicely, but its pricey!

Re: Finally finished my exhaust bracket
Ok! Painted the rearsets up yesterday afternoon and let them dry overnight. The result is:

Decided to take the bike outside cos things always look better in proper daylight! Took pics of the rearsets and a few more of the bike itself

All looking very good i think, when i manage to earn some money ill be filling in the tank dent next and probably primer it at the same time too. Also need to finish off the headlight fairing where i have blanked off the indicator holes, did them last year but didnt finish them off properly.

did the tank inspire that thought? Cos the paint work i want done is a silver basecoat and a green laquer, not sure if id like a silver bike. does anyone remember a member called paninaro? He had a silver bike, was bloody gorgeous in silver!

Re: Finally finished my exhaust bracket
very nice.
trouble is, every time you do this, some other unpainted bit of the bike stands out. you'll end up just hammeriting everything black!
