Just like to put in a good word or a few for Ross (zimm).

Rode down to his yesterday to pick up a UK Odometer and CDI, and we spent the afternoon and evening stripping my bike down, (he then balanced the carbs and changed the jets, while I fixed his pliers...) A rediculously warm Madras and many cups of tea in the evening.
Reassembling the bike in the morning with him, he helped me sort the suspension and tyre pressures.

Whilst I was there, he kept trying to offload a large number of bits and bobs on me, alas that I hadn't any kind of carrying capacity.

Much obliged for both the parts and all the help, dude, thanks very much!

It always makes me proudto be part of this forum, and of the help offered by some of the members here. Starting to see this alot more in recent years too, and its excellent that people are going out of thier way for other ZXR owners. :excited

If you find the right forum; much like this one and Rovertech for me, you find nothing but helpfulness and a good community spirit, and that just makes so much difference - this as an example, and all the offers and help we recieved on RT when our Nürburgring trip was nearly on the rocks, the very night before we were due to ferry out - I still have PMs I didn't get round to replying to, twenty or thirty in total, offering parts or help getting the parts from up north down here to me in Wiltshire at gone midnight on a Thursday evening. Brilliant. The more of that sort of reception and urge to help you get, the more you feel the urge to reciprocate.

In the end, those wind up being the forums you stay on. I'm on four or five other biking forums, and six or seven other Rover forums. This and RT is about all browse nowadays.

happy to help mate..

hope you had a good trip back and that the bike behaved.

Have to admit.. i've spent all evening thinking about getting another L after caning (err, testing) yours round the lanes earlier... I do love the H models, but i do like that "plugged into the front wheel" feel the L's have.

I have to say I am also proud to be part of this forum, all the others just turn into slagging matches for petty reasons.

Good positive vibes on here guys.

yeah i notice that alot, someone says something that someone disagrees with it turns into a bitch fight, and people tend to be quite harsh if they disagree too. None of that here really, or at least not very often. This is about the only forum i use now, occasionally visit others but this is the main one for me.

Have to say this is the only forum i use aswell and it's grate, everyone seems soooo helpful and if anyone has a problem, no matter how stupid, a solution always seems to be found. I am also a user on MCN, but don't bother posting anything because if you don't agree with a select fews opions, you seem to get bombarded with abuse etc, it all seems so perfectic, some of the posts on there realy abusive.

LONG LIVE ZXR400 OWNERS CLUB.
