For the first time in 2 years, my L5 fired up

Sounds rattly, but the noise must be clutch as it goes when the lever is pulled in.

Have a clutch problem though, i have posted the problem in the clutch section of the forum.

And the fuel tap is leaking

fucking fuel taps are a pain in the butt. my last 3 have pissed fuel out.
