Are there any other makes just as good as the dremels are quite expensive?

I had a "cheaper" one from B & Q before, and it was ok, did the job for a little while.
then I got a dremel and it's just so much better quality, and was probably only £10-15 more.

Anyone else ACTUALLY sharpened a chainaw with their dremel?

I did last week! Yay!

The missus looks a bit depressed when I tell her this but the dremel is the best Xmas present shes ever bought me - granted I did have to tell her which model and what attachements etc but great - the number of things I have used it for - including the chain saw (worked a treat) My first choice present was a threesome with her reasonably fit mate but as that didnt seem possible :smt012 the dremel was a good second in the list of poss presents :smt003

What would you say if she wanted a 3some with one of your fit mates? :smt016

Been after a dremel for years but always put off by the price but you get what you pay for by the sounds of them!

I bought my Dremel off e-bay I just watched and waited and eventually I saw one at the right price with a selection of extras with it. It came in a nice little wooden box as some kind of special kit........................... it had had zero use....................well used now LOL

Point is be watch and wait the right one will come up...................at the right price
