Hi,

When I took the rear spension apart (the L shape looking thing) it holds 5 needle roller bearings inside, and all but 1 are fecked... square as a brick. I've done some snooping around and the cheapest after market parts I found was £10.47 each ex VAT! and Kawasaki want something stupid like £13 each + VAT.

The bearing size is 20x27x15 that's 20mm bore 27mm outside diameter and 15mm width.

Anyone know where I can get these bearings fairly cheapy? say like £6 each sounds like a nicer figure?

Regards

Rich

needle rollers are not usually something you can get from a general bearing distributor, you're lucky i paid £39 for mine for the gixer.

you could try http://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/

i had this problem when i did mine, Rich. The kwak ones i got at the time were about a tenner, but going to my local bearing supplier they couldnt source them. Personally, id shell out for the proper kwak ones.

what rob said...

it costs about £££ to refurb the rear linkage completely, but it only needs doing once every 10 years...

5 roller bearings for the rocker + 2 sleeves, 2 bushes and 4 o-rings for the ends of the dog-bones
