Im heading up tomorrow for thier test and tune day for cars and bikes. £10 entry and a further £20 for as many runs as you can fit in down the drag strip.
Was a really good day, took the versys with me as the back brake on the ZXR appears to have given up, ive hardly ridden it over the last few months and i knew it was on its way out so didnt risk failing the scrutineering.
Anyways, managed a best time of 13.38 @ 95 mph, i reckon id go faster if i could launch the thing without clawing at the air, quite spectacular to watch according to my friend. On my 2nd run it came up went down and came up again, the entire crowd went 'ooooooo' apparently so glad it was entertaining in a way.
See a couple of ZXR's too, recognised the blue one so may have been previously or currently owned by one of our members. See a red H model too, nice n loud, well he had taken the silencer off.....
