Hi guys,
Just a quick one, I have fitted an R6 rear end on my zxr 400 and have chopped the rear subframe off just behind the seat.
Was wondering if this should be able to pass an mot? everything is fine, i mean you cant even notice there isnt a subframe.
Ill try get a pic to get a clearer view.
Cheers, michael.

Re: MOT question
There not allowed to take things off to look behind them so I can't see it being a problem.
Is it safe with a shorter subframe though?

Re: MOT question
Ohh rightio then.
Yes its all sturdy and safe, i just wouldnt let anyone sit on the backend lol. Its a single seat bike now. So i wont be taking pillions. Its basically an R6 rear end, and ive fibre glassed over the rear seat. It looks nice and tidy, ill try and get a pic.
Ive left the part of the subframe on where the seat goes so im all safe in that department

Re: MOT question
I think if you have a pillion seat then you have to have pillion footpegs.
They pass customs all the time so I can't see many mods like a new subframe being a fail...
