spacer size for the seat lock?

Can anybody help me, im slowly putting my bike together after buying it, but i keep comming accross bits that are missing. i need to make a spacer for the rear seat lock so it sits off the frame can anybody take a measurment for me and let me know the length of the spacer, cheers, john.
