Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get my zxr400 dyno'd? As i have just fitted a straight through stainless and its not as smooth in the revvs.

Im based in the east midlands but willing to travel

Also, what are dynojet kits? where can i get them from?

Dynojet kits are a selection of differnet jets and needles you can buy as a kit from a company called dynojet to tune the bike up, the full micron exhaust system was designed to use these.

Have you changed the down-pipes or just the end-can?

Most experienced dyno's should carry a selection of various sizes of jets that you can buy depending on if you need them.

Depending on where your flat-spots are it could be a case of raising the needles up, which can be done with a shim washer (cheaper than a jet kit!)

I have fitted a full stainless mircron system, And now, although it sounds better and feels abit more responsive. Its harder to start in the mornings, and feels very draggy when going up the revvs to redline.

Its as if it takes along time to reach the redline when its at 11,000rpm. Its hard to explain, but it runs so much better with the original baffled exhaust.

Does anyone know what kind of jets i need? the bike is standard as far as i know.

im in leicester.

Well i know the front pipes are that make. But the end can is off an R6. fits fine.

running rich? I was speaking to someone at dynopro and they said that it would be running on the lean side since ive changed the exhaust. and that its changed the fuel system due to my new pipes not having any baffles in them.

Anyways, ive put the standard one back on for now. Doesnt sound knowhere near as good!

Dynopro will be right, it will be running slightly lean.. probs not much tho if your carbs are standard.
Microns do have a link pipe baffle unless its been removed tho.
get it down to them mate, they will have it sorted in 10 mins for you.
