Buying a ZXR soon, but which one? :O

Hi guys,
New to this forum, this is my first post, and i was just wondering what specific ZXR's are the best to look out for?
I mean are there more reliable models, faster models, better handling models or more sought after models?
I have been looking around on the internet for quite some time, and it seams there's not really a straight forwards answer, i would probably be looking for the faster of the models!
but then im not so keen on it being one of the earlier ones if it was, because i have had my eye on an L9 2002 i think it was, with only about 15000 miles on it?
Are those models any good, and do they have many problems after so many amount of miles, such as head gaskets or bearings going?
