what advantages have the sp model over the standard model, an wit the close ratio box are the much slower over all any info on a 97 sp would be great thanks lads

if you do a quick search (top right) theres lots of topics on sp models and yes there a few 'advantages' to sp's
shocks,carbs,gearbox,single seat...list goes on..

if it's got low mileage, and is really an sp (anyone can fit a single seat and a different shock - check for the flat slides and the cdi, there's a post somewhere giving pictures for each, since they vary between the normal and the sp ones) then i'd guess around £2500 max.

yeah its not as if ya can go stripping the fairings off it thou, i have one bought for 1900euro its showroom condition an only ha 15000 miles on it!! i just hope she is a sp i have a deposit put on it goin to collect it at the weekend

that's a good deal even for a standard model. Don't worry if it's not an sp, if it's a dealer bike, but not as advertised, you can take them to the cleaners for mis-representation. you should be abble to see the carbs if you peer into the fairing gaps with a torch. you'd be within rights to ask the dealers to wip the seat and tank off to take a peak, it's only a 10 minute job. to be fair the flat slides are one of the biggest bonuses, even if it's not an sp, so if they're there, and well set up, for 1900euros you might as well relax!

thats the one lad from westmeath i have been waitin on the right one for about 3 months lad its showroom condition, there is a lot of ruff ones out there, he has a 400gsxr out there to my friend is buyin it at the weekend to!! bring on the isle of man

yer man mentioned the gsxr alright,i have a couple of friends from mulingar,im a mayo fella myself,
you cant do anything in ireland without people finding out! even people ya dont know!
did you for a spin on the zxr yet?
just copped yer not from westmeath ursel thats where ya got the bike.

no it was pissing rain when i was lookin at her i wil bring her for a rip before i hand over the money thou, there is still tax an mot on it, i cant wait to get going on her a few of my friends are mad into bikes the have a r6, fireblade, gsxr600 srad, gsxr 600, 650sv, ducati monster, fireblade streetfighter so i wil be at my best tryin to keep up, my friend with the gsxr 600 is lookin for a swap for a 400 would ya no anyone for it

yeah i wil lad, my friend bought the gsxr400 off him after, he has very bikes up there an another friend of main is buyin a r6 off him
