Navigation Enquiry!

Hi Folks,
Somehow I got slightly bemused and lost on my way to Moto GP at Silverstone this year on my beloved ZXR. Truth be told I often to get lost on 2 wheels, whether it's powered by an engine or pedal power!
It's time to join the contemporary society and invest into a gadget such as a sat nav. However I would ideally like some kind of navigation device which I can utilise on both my push bike and motorbike (even if I have x2 sorts of brackets). I'm happy to put my hand into my pocket and purchase whatever you guys (and gals) recommend?
The only other substitute is use my iPhone, however that would be reluctantly.
Look forward to hearing from you.....all.
Kind Regards
Raj
