850 quid with no mot, good deal or skip?

Post by johnnynapalmsc »

https://www.gumtree.com/p/kawasaki-moto ... 1173932633 Here it is, was wondering if it's worth having a look? What could possibly be wrong with this bike and how much would it cost me to get it into shape? The owner doesn't seem to list any problems

looks ok to me, just check ove the usual things, fire it up, give it a bit of a rev, see how it sounds...but £850 is a decent price, its cosmetically tatty, but i dont know what you are after or if that bothers you that much?

remember, its a 19 year old bike, it will have 19 year old brakes/suspension/electrics/problems...its not a 2016 bike with FI/abs/tc/warranty...

Yeah don't worry the 19 year old bike thing has been hammered in my head already, still want it though, don't really care how much the maintenance will cost :smt003

I'll hold you to that, a 1hr ban for any talk of money pits if you buy a Zxr 400 :D
