Picked up my ZXR400 a few days ago and only just got off it. Wrists, neck, and back totally f'kd, but absolutely lovin it . Got a lovely Nassert-R system which howls like a banshee from 4k rpm . Time for some earplugs.
Anyway, since I live in Japan and don't speak enough JP to parlay with the mechanics, I want to ask you lot for an easy 123 list of things to look out for (camchain, oil, head gasket) - that kinda thing. Bike's got 40,000 km on the clock but the previous owner must have ridden like a puss cos he left fat old chicken strips on the tyres. The engine, shocks, and bearings are still all good, restrictor still in place mind.
Cheers fellas
What to look out for

Yeah - will grab my girlfriend's camera as soon as it's sunny. Pissing down like crazy at the moment. The bodywork isn't in such good nick - needs a lot of tidying up, but it's been garaged by the previous owner (who I suspect was also a fair weather rider as the fasteners and screw heads are mint). Anyway, will try and get some up soon.
