i wouldnt call real carbon parts useless, they do have many advantages over plastic parts especially structural advantages. Id also say it looks way better than plain plastic. But as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Who needs to shave a tenth of a second off their daily commute by weight reduction from switching to carbon? I've never really been a fan of standing around my bike waiting for people to say "ooh is that carbon fibre?" , these cafe culture posers can kiss my tail light. Seems sportsbikes are more about posing than riding these days.

Dont think i'm directing this at you robB, beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. carbon doesn't look awful but it's the last mod that would ever see a bike of mine.

The trouble with having an open mind, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

you might be right there i think, ish (i wouldnt mind a whole carbon set of plastics for the bike that would be cool an diferent). but its what ever you fancy. im thinkin of just sprayin mine black or somethin, a nice solid colour.

You know proper carbon fibre, when you look into it, it almost looks 3D dont it.
