As luck would have it

My Brand New ZX6R hit the deck day before yesterday.

A lady in a lexus 4 x 4 thing was parking on the pavement and shoved it over whilst it was parked up. I heard the crunch and then as I looked out the door, she was getting back in her tank and drove off. I didn't get the plate number cos it was already dark.

So I picked up my bike (Forgetting to take off steering lock) and inspected the damage.

Yesterday paid out £168.70 for:

New RH footrest hanger,
RH handlebar, yes it bent.
RH Throttle assembly
RH bar end.

I have dings on my side panel, but I can leave that for the next person to take me on.

The bar end embedded itself in the throttle. Riding it to garage was interesting. With rear brake pedal hanging off. lol.

It's put a chip in my frame too where brake pedal embedded in.

Oh yeah, and the accident in my car from March, has been settled 50/50 blame so I wont be getting my excess back. I have appealed twice claiming the laws of physics and the highway code were on my side, but they wont have it.

BAN WOMEN DRIVERS FROM 4WD VEHICLES!!!

Ah fk in hell sorry to hear about that bit of misfortune, some ppl are ignorant cunts, you should have chaised after her in the hope of catching up. i cant imagine how pissed i would be if that happened to me.
is the work gona set you back more than 200 quid then?
this might sound like an inapropreate question but how is it running now you have put afew more miles on the clock? i almost got myself a new R6 the weekend 0% but i need the no claims.
on another note it might be worth steaking out that road for a while see if she comes back to park at some point you never know.

I ran but It's really hard in 2 piece zipped together leathers.

I saw her yesterday - approached he and she said I muct be mistaken.
So I went to police station with her reg number, but they don't do jack do they?
But anyway, I am gonna find out her name and address and go for revenge that way.

This morning I have been up in Netheravon trying to jump out of a plane, but it's too cloudy and windy.

Dangit.

If her car hit your bike, wouldnt there be marks on her car?

surely the police must get involved for her not reporting an accident and driving off?

OK, Right,
2007 ZX6R for sale. 220 miles on the clocks. 2007. Green, with hugger and all standard, not been revved over 5k yet. £6,199 ono.

I'm just so wanting a 400 again. Insurance quote now that I'm allegedly half to blam for March's car accident - with 7 years no claims on a bike, nonetheless. £1023 fully comp. Scandalous.

ZXR400 (wakka) £74.96 fully comp. HOW???

So I'm swoping my ZX6R for:

1) ZXR400
2) DT230 Lanza trail bike
3) Aprilia RS125 (2004/5)
All three. About £6k worth, right?

and the running costs will still be cheaper than my ZX6R lol.

Could have been worse pupps. If you lived in nottingham she'd have pulled a gun on you.

I toad you not. Front page of the local paper the other day, woman on school run parks her wanker tank across someone's driveway while picking up kids. House owner asks her politely to move so he can get out, she pulls out what turned out to be an air pistol and points it at him.

your come running back to the 6r :P infact what made u give up the 636 for the smaller motor 2007 zx6r, dont you like torque ?, anyways i really do like the shape of the zx6r 2007, infact i like the shape of the new r6, you sure you cant afford to just buy a zxr400 and keep the 6r, all you need is about a grand to pick up a zxr400, Rob
