iirc, i got on the internet about 8 years ago, never seen it till recently, but then im not a forum whore. I only visit 2 or 3 forums.

Its like text, it now has its own language, many people use it so it cant be dismissed, as much as we hate it.

Visordown and the VFR forum use loads of these, and I find most of the time you can ignore things like IIRC and the sentence still makes sense!

My Nerd Speak goes as far as LOL and PMSL, and recently HTH - because that's nice and sarcastic in most cases!

Some of the english some people use on some forums, you could miss out most words and the setence would make MORE sense.
