Ok then whats the deal with warmed up tyres ?

ok then, i got myself thinking yesterday, cause after my 20 mile run in the sun last night at averaging 135 mph on the way back from work, i got off the bike and felt the tyre and yes its really really hot, but when you rub the tyre, it actually doesnt feel anymore tackier then when its cold, or atleast im not noticing a big difference, so whats the deal, is this something standard road tyres are like ? i have michelin pilot powers dual compounds there meant to have softer edges, but im not really feeling much differences,
would it be if i bought say pirelli dragon evo corsas, they would warm up and go tacky, is it cause there road tyres ?, i only ask this because although i aint got my knee sliders on, im almost brushing the tarmac in my leather ( yeah i know knee slider pucks gonna be on order ),
ok then thats my ranting over
so if i had softer compound tyres would they show more tackiness when warm, or is it the small difference when warm that is making all the difference ?,
and before anyone asks, yes i too wait a fair few miles before laying the power on down !!!!! cheers guys
Rob
ps i guess this is my hot topic for the day
