Riding Style Of Undercover Police On Sportsbikes?

The age old point always comes up that Police riders don't move around on their bikes, and certainly don't get their knee down, but are much faster than almost everyone on the roads.

Obviously, Pan's and other regular marked Police bikes aren't really the perfect tool for knee-down.

With the influx of undercover Police bikes, such as R1's, SP-1's etc, I was wondering if anyone has observed the riding styles of Officers on these bikes?

Do they still use the upright style?

I'm sure they won't touch their knees down, but do they at least shift their weight around in a style that mimics your average sportsbike rider?

It seems to me that if they didn't, they'd stand out a fair bit?

what if somebody had been riding a sportsbike on the road and did hang off it like a tit, then decided to become a copper on a bike?

it must be difficult to alter their current riding style to the more refined copper style

Yes, so do they ride them like a sportsbike, or do they stick to the knees-to-the-tank upright Pan style?

Has anyone here actually seen or been pulled over by oen of these undercover sportsbikes?

I mean first hand?

It strikes me that all mine are 'mate of a mate' type things, and I'm starting to think that they don't actually exist!

It certainly isn't in the best interests of the Police forces to dispell these rumours if they are just myth... :smt017

Ive got a bunch of mates who are coppers and ride sports bikes (note, they arent traffic coppers, they are trained police riders tho), they all move around the bike. Pans just dont lend them selves to it.

I think your weigh compared to a pan, your probably not going have much effect on how it handles :smt005
