pipercross air filter

can any one tell me how to fit the pipercross air filter mpx028 cos it looks like it will not fit in the airbox. I phoned pipercross and was told that is the right filter for the bike??? BUT HOW DO YOU FIT IT IN THE AIR BOX!!

not sure of the lay-out on the L models airbox.... but that filter would fit lovely in my H model, maybee they give you the wrong year, but i havent heard of the filter being different between the H and L's tho.... :smt017

thats for an H model, the filters are completely different between L and H models :)

good job i got it off ebay for £20. Well if anyone with a H model would like a pipercross air filter it is yours for £20 PM
me. i will also put it in parts for sale

just been looking on thier site.
they claim it can add 7hp without any other mods, hows that work? your only replacing the foam element with a snazzy one :smt017 :smt005

fitted the filter to my other halfs ZX-4, bike was running perfect if maybe a touch rich through the midrange before, running perfect if maybe a touch rich through the midrange now.. upshot, its better made and nicer to look at than OE, but makes bugger all difference to performance .. compared to a clean/new OE filter, obviously its WAY better than a manky one, which is what you normally have when going "airfilter shopping"..

looks easier to clean though.

the good thing with these type of filters is you clean and re-oil them so you don't have to keep replacing them.
