Been out and about on the bike a couple of times now and all of a sudden the revs have gone high as if the clutch is starting to slip a bit. Just wondering roughly how much im looking at just to buy one?
either new or second hand if its worth it?

If you have to replace the steels aswell thats when it gets pricey i think. Need to do clutch on my 7R, but you need to measure the clutch freeplay and all sorts of toad so gonna have a garage do it.

As Rene says - the EBC kit is advisable because others have been known to be a bit carp.
Also, when was your last oil change? Might be worth putting new oil in - but if you do that make sure you tell the garage to re-use the oil (if they doi the clutch) or they'll charge you for new oil again!
Some people have alsoi reported slipping clutches after using fully synthetic oil, or if they put car oil in rather than bike oil (because car oild have a slippy agent in as they don't have wet clutches!).

Hehehe!
Who's gonna start the 'Synthetic Vs. Semi-synth oil in older bikes' argument again???
