Finally, ive managed to do get ALL of my christmas shopping done! Cheque from TAX man came and cleared yesterday so went into London for the afternoon and evening to do some shopping! Hamleys sold out of that Isis Adventure that i wanted to get for the GF, feck, feck, what now? Plodded upto Selfridges, got directed to every single department where 'you might find it', no one seemed to have the common sense to check an inventory and find out if they even do it before they send me round a maze of shops of really expensive jewellery, phones, perfumes and toad, got to the point of giving up, so i gave up.
Trundled down to Knightsbridge to Harrods where i found the most helpful people of my entire shopping experience, I got sent to the right department, I spoke to someone there who knew what i was after and Immediately showed me where it was and got me one! Sorted!
Today i got the stupid little things, wrapping paper, cards, etc.... but after yesterdays excursions round london I was so tired and fed up of making decisions I just didnt wanna make anymore. I hate shopping, I really do. I dunno if anyone else gets it my my legs get 'bored' and i cant be arsed to walk anywhere. Ive also eaten crap for the last two days cos theres no time anywhere to sit and eat properly, tonight, im having a high dosage of vegetables and a really early night, my shoulders ache from carrying bags, my feet are sore from carrying me AND my bags. But first of all i just need to wrap everything, will it ever end?
On the plus side, its christmas soon!!!!!!!!
p.s. what has everyone managed to spend? Just over 300 qud for me!

Well my shoulders ache from carrying everything in a rucksack, cant stand carrier bags as they cut into your fingers as you say superman. Wrapped all but the GF's last night just for here to say to me after i done them 'did you take the price tags off everything?'. OH! :smt013
Just writing cards for everyone now, then i might actually get some time today to do some long over due uni work/revision.

I got all mine done in 1 day, £600ish in total, and £400 on the ball and chain, err gorge gal.....spent 3 hours wrapping it nicely, and decided, for a change, this year i wouldnt use silver gaffa tape like always (it amuses me knowing folk know the gift came from me, but being unable to open it for 5 minutes or so....

) for my buddy to call and drop that immortal line!
unwrap and re-wrap in about 2 hours, but less tid, less tape and wrote on the packets not the tags! however, i believe psycho pauls still has the price on...but its only paul!
cant wait to see her iccle face on the day....i was hoping for the key to a new bike (like the fella in this months fast bikes got) but ive shaken and shook em all, and there is no gsxr 750 in there, or 748 or any bike key really....i sose since we are meant to be, MEANT, to be saving for a huse i guess thats the excuse.
oh, and i agree deviant, mastercard is truly my best friend (until jan, when the bill comes!)
MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL! AND A TRULY HAPPY NEW YEAR
love bestie

Well, it started off with a bargain, 1/2 price electric toothbrush in sainsburys, then i saw Kylie cd/dvd extra thing...2 got so far total cost £32.47
Then i attacked the shoite rose shopping centre, the canvas print was £62, the digital fram and sd card about £90, bag from river island £50, YSL make up £45, Angel perfume gift set £40, MOS annual 2008 £13.97, PJ's from la senza £50, gift card for same place £25 and a spa day at harrogate turkish baths....around £408!!!!
i dunno what it is, i will happily get myself in debt just to see a warm smile on peeps face at christmas, which i know is silly, but after doing ALL my shopping one year (95) in POUNDSTRETCHER of all places, i knew i had made a mistake when my mother didnt like her earrings, she wears clip ons not pierced, my bro hated the crap PC game i got him 101 something or other and my father was less than happy with his winter car kit, as i got him one the year before!
so i guess i make up for it now....bought my nana a lovely orchid plant thing and my gran winnie, a cracking bottle of white wine, both over £25 so no cheap frog here!!!
AND I HOPE TO GOD MY FIANCEE DOESNT READ THIS THREAD!!
