right, i got a bit of a dilemma (if thats spelt right). first jumped on a zxr in 1995 and deciced one day id have one. i got a l4 in 2000 and its my pride and joy. but heres the problem; i got a insurance quote for an mv augusta f4 which was very reasonable. so do i stick with the trusty zxr and throw a couple of grand at it, knowing that ill never get it back but have inner peace, or go for a bike ive wanted since they released it? i cant have 2 bikes due to lack of room so that option is out. help!!!

as much as i love the zxr400, and despite the bollockin baz wil give me for saying this when i see him tomoz,
get the mv agusta u lucky so and so!
imo 400's serve a purpose for learner riders and women, if ppl can either afford or have the space to keep the 400 when they upgrade to larger bike then fantastic, if not then imo the 400 will always lose out
gem

Once in a lifetime opportunity owning an MV isnt it? Go for it. You can always promise yourself to get another ZXR in the future.

id go for the MV, no matter how much money you throw at a zxr it will never been as special, desirable or eye catching as an MV... never mind the speed

but you never know.... you might find the MV too uncomfortable to bear! i had an italian bike once....never again! it was a nightmare

MV's are the best looking bikes in the world!
I wouldn't give the 400 a 2nd thought over an MV.

Bit of a no brainer isnt it
Unless you think the ZXR is that good you cant decide, tobo?

Just watch out!
I hear those MV's have dodgy head gaskets, rock hard rear suspension, and noisy clutches!

ermm personaly id stick with the ZXR, but deepends on what kind of riding you do. The MV will lose loads of money as the miles start counting up, get it wet and you've lost a fair bit, and got forbid you get a almost impossible to see scratch on it! my bikes are there to be riden, what ever the weather, things like MV's, dukes ect are for polish lovers and the odd ride.
to sum up, expensive to repair, expensive to own, cant be riden all the time, brake down more offen and then you've got the price of servicing!
Dont get me wrong they are sexual looking bikes, and ment to ride well to. I was going to get the F4 750 but it dosnt suit what a bike means to me personaly.
