Im trying to identify my bike looking at it its a L1 but log book says its an F reg and chassis number starts with zx400H also stating its the H model. It has the frame, swingarm, bodywork the same as the L1 also the log book says that date of first registration is 01/07/95... then declared date of manufacture is 1989.. sorry no pictures will try post some later any help will be great...

Baz had a ZXR400 which was an L model made in 1989.

Could do with a picture tho, can know for sure that way. Try finding a picture somewhere in the gallery and link it here perhaps?

sounds like mine was, 1989 on G plate L1 i thought the G plates were the first of the L model imports??? as RobB says stick a pic up and we'll soon know.

There is a picture the same as mine in the model identification section under L1 by masterofinsanity its the one thats green,,blue,,white..

be an L1 model then mate, imported.

your bike's an import then. It was first registered in UK on 01/07/95.
