Well i had my poster presentation today to defend my project, went badly i reckon cos im not good at explaining things but i dont give an effing toad! Project wasnt even course related and ive had it up to here (metaphorical hand up to head gesture) with uni.

All i care about at the moment is getting it out the way (which it now is), concentrating on my exams, finishing, getting my ZXR painted and riding the thing!

Just thought id share that with you all.

so how long have you got left at uni?

about 3 weeks, then ive got resits to do end of july. After that, no more bureaucratic bullshit, i can finally go do some proper work and stuff i actually care about.

Im in an anti-university mood today arent i?

give you 2 weeks before your crying for the easy life of 3 days of work a week and only 3 hours a day if that

so why goto university in the first place, never quite understood why people went? probably never had them in my day

Nope back in your day when films were silent and pictures were black and white men worked proper jobs like cola mining no dizzle dazzling around for 4 years at an expensive day care centre for rich kids

Somehow i dont think i want the feeling that ive got work i should be doing at home in the evening when i could be relaxing with the mrs and constantly having to worry about money. Least after work you can go home and forget about it till the alarm clock goes off the next day.

Cant say ive had a great time at uni, overated is what i think id call it. However, i have no regrets in trying it and ive always said to myself ill go as far as i can with it till i start doing badly then i know ive reached my limit academically, and this year i think was it. So i just look forward now to finishing and being able to persue other interests that have been on the backburner for the last 3 years and getting on with my life.

The point of uni is being able to prove you can learn lots in a short space of time. The only thing i would change if i did it again would be to start with an aprenticeship and do part time courses at college and uni. Its a longer way of doing it, but at least that way you have proven worth in the form of experience and an academic qualification which will get you places if you decide to move on.

Rich kids are the ones that go to oxford and cambridge, real stars them guys and i wouldnt diss anyone for going to uni because like the rest of us they are just trying to better themselves and theres nothing wrong with that, they have just chosen to do it in a different way and some get a better start in life. Im far from a rich kid either as are many of my friends here. The money that i did have that i saved before uni went on my ZXR, and i tell you this, for what i spent on that bike and on going to uni, the ZXR had a better return in hapiness, just wish i could enjoy it more!

Oh how that will change once you get a job...i offen find my self having to come into work on sat/sunday having to get thing finished or late night phone calls saying that somthings broken ect.

Work is a 24/7 thing (well for me at least). I have a toad load more money worries now as i have more out goings/debits. How i wish i was back at school and able to have change form £20 a month!

Well that depends on the job, the higher up you go in a company the more you work you get i suppose which is where i will be heading. To be quite honest id be happy pottering about in my shed on bikes for the rest of my life and travelling to distant countries when i feel like it. But you cant make a living out of that unfortunately

Well, had my last one yesterday and it went fantastically well!! The questions were exactly the same as a paper from two years ago, same wording, numbers, everything!!

Start a new job on saturday in a shoe shop about 5 mins from my house as i will be staying here over the summer, so futures looking good!

Now, time to get onto the zxr ive been meaning to finish.......................

lol, you git. Its temporary while i look for a proper job, i couldnt care less what its doing just as it brings some money in and i get to finish off the ZXR.

so what field you off into then mate. on finishin your degree. good fortune that is if they give you past papers. thats when i would be kickin meself for not momorisin it lol.
