Full license!

I took my A2 class test this morning, lads and lasses.
Despite turning up to the test center early, and hanging around laughing and joking (pretty calm at that point) I managed to leave my License Card back at the Bike School in Devizes, and then when I realised this, with 40 odd minutes to go till my test, it was a matter of ringing round, seeing if there was anyone in Devizes who could run it over to Chippenham for me.
In the end, Vernon Hickson, the instructor I'd been learning under for the last day and a bit, wound up discarding the big shiny vest and belting it off to get it.
He got back with about one minute to spare, before my extra 5 mins waiting time was up. The man is a legend.
After that, I then went and f**ked up on the Emergency Stop. Skidded the back wheel a bit, and then just about remembered to do some obs before paddling into the kerb.
So, went into the test center with a face like a rainy day.
Ian turned to me and said 'so, you are successful, if you'd just sign here...' and my jaw dropped. I must have stood staring at him with my mouth wide open for about twenty seconds, as he looked up and said 'yeah, you've passed'. He had to say it a third time before I believed him.
So, as of about half eleven this morning, I am a fully licensed motorcyclist!
Now only a matter of time till I can get the ZXR serviced and restricted, and then I'm on the road!
Money... Money... Money... I need more money...
