Hi to all

My tacho has a 19k red line (km clocks) and all the others i have seen (on ebay admittedly) have a 14500 one.
Anyone come across this before?

When i got the bike - J reg zxr400 L2 - a year ago it had been dropped and needed a bit of a cosmetic touch, the clocks were damaged in the crash a bit but are still fitted and work so i assumed they were the originals. ?

soz for the quality but... you can see the redline is too high. Comparing this to a mph set i got with the bike(but never got round to fitting - de-restrictor box, cdi !!!???? still dont know the effect) , the redline is at exactly the same position but the inlay card reads different. I was wondering if it might have been a cosmetic change, but it might make more sense if it was from another model coz it looks perfect quality and identical the the mph one apart from the numbers.
PS and yes the screen is as donald ducked and as crazed as it looks!

cheers guys
It doesnt bother me(unless it is a 250), i was more curious than anything else. i was planning to put the mph ones on at some point.
it does make me wonder about its history and if anything else on it is strange - think i might give a good looking over when time permits.
