Ordering parts

Was putting some orders in today at the Kwak dealer.
Their system is "live" to the factory, so tells me instantly the script
If I get an order in before mid-day and they have stock it will say "Next day" , after mid-day it states the delivery date - usually the day after.
On back orders it has a variety of sayings, most popular is "Please wait a while" or "soon"
Well today me and the parts boy were rolling about in hoots, ordered up new needles for fitting into the FCR's (not mine but an Oz order) and it came back with,
"We don't know"
How's that for honesty!!!
I know Keihin will take about 6 weeks to make a special order and just now it is the "Obon" holidays and the factory wont send parts out until after the 21st so maybe these will be a 8 week wait - very rare but guess not many ask for OEM needles. 91EXR's by the way
