Amazing Devonian circuit

You need to do this circuit it is brilliant, a real mixture of lovely twists and straights.
A377 BARNSTAPLE TO EXETER then COWLEY BRIDGE, EXETER to BICKLEIGH, TIVERTON, from BICKLEIGH to CREDITON (A3072), then back on the A377 to Barnstaple.
You can get to Tiverton from Junction 27 on the M5, and do the circuit Tiverton (A3072) to Crediton to Barnstaple (A377) - back to M5 (A361) which is also very good! There are 3 speed cameras on the A361 the limit is 60 where marked and 70 on the duel carrageway.
DEVON ROADS ARE VERY DANGEROUS TO INEXPERIENCED RIDERS - TAKE YOUR TIME THE FIRST TIME YOU RIDE THEM - Look out for :
- Road kill, lots of badgers, deers, foxes, voles, squirrels and the odd cat!
- Mud and Manure on the road, the Farmers usually put out signs, don't assume that it has been left out
- This time of year there are lots of decaying leaves, they can be slippy
- If the sign says "SLOW" it actually means it! And heed to double whites in the road, they really are there for a reason!
- Blind bends, take them slowly, lorries, vans and tractors can often cut the corners
- Damp patches/leaves under trees on manhole covers, sometimes it is more dangerous to swerve to miss them than to ride straight over them, use your own judgement
- There are not many cameras (Gatso) but often mobile units, be careful!
Yes, I know it applied to most roads, but don't say I didn't warn you!
Devon County Council are working on encouraging riders to enjoy the roads here, but their message is "Stay safe so you can come back!" and I totally agree, once ridden you will want to come back and these are just typical roads which cover Devon, there are 8000 miles of them.
7 Riders have been killed this year, only two show offically, all were rider error.
Take it easy and you will really enjoy yourself, you can ride at 50-60 on most of it (higher on the straights but I didn't tell you!).
