tomtom one help

my tomtoms managed to wipe its self, so now i need to reload it all, i refuse to pay tom tom 40 quid to download the maps off them, is there anywhere free i can do this?

well i dont know, its a tom tom one, i took the memory card out n put it bk in, now when i turn it on its showing a pic of the memory card with a red x through it, how do i know what maps etc i need? cheers

if you plug your tom tom into the pc it should start tomtom home up, from there you should be able to restore the software........but if you are getting the red cross syndrome this means your card is corrupt and no doubt the tomtom home wont recognise the tomtom so put the card in your card reader wipe it and copy all your backup to the card, they should be in your mydocuments/tomtom/backups/ folder or something like that. if you don't have a backup i'll zip and email a set of the files over to you.

erm i dunno, its blue and has a white and orange sticker saying tom tom one and has uk and ie on it

sounds like the 128mb ok i'll send you the original files for tomtom one, wont be able to do it til late tonight tho and i'll probably have to upload it to the net so you can download at your will.

They have micro SD cards - and i think its a 128mb card as standard
