Still trying to work out if this zzr6 conversion will work/is worth it. :smt017
Can someone tell me the vertical height from the top of the headstock to the ground and the distance from the headstock nut to the front of the seat ?
I'm trying to suss out how much smaller the zxr is compared to the zzr. If its close size wise I would maybe be better off putting the zzr on a serious diet.
The frame is only 12-13kg (less the subframe) and I can't see the zxr4 frame being much lighter.
Don't s'pose anyone has the weight of the 400 engine ? Can't help but wonder if its the 600 thats a much heavier lump.......dry weight is 195kg compared to what...165kg for the 400's ?
Last question...whats the ground clearance on the stock bike ? Wondering if its a much lower frame set up....
Considering its a '94 bike and that the new 636's weigh in around 170 dry they must have some super light parts on 'em

Found a dirt cheap 636 frame at a wreckers....ok so the headstock has split from the frame...it'll polish out
Its cheap enough to use as a prototype..the rear engine mounts are the same distance apart as the zzr6 so it might just work...
Tried one for size at TeamhomoKawasaki today (636) very light and compact... :smt001
