H1 '89 I'm thinking of changing the main jets to 110/112 staggered, are this to big ? can it be done maybe compensate in needle height? (drop one mark) pilot screw would need adjustments?

has anything been done to the engine, or the airbox or filter, any exhaust changes?
they are fairly large jets.
standard needles are not adjustable. unless you put washers in to richen it, but ive found every engine ive had in, they all need leaning off in the mid...
Is there much of a need to stagger the jets, they dont get that hot do they?

no mods at all just removed air box inlet ruber ss down pipes and a aftermarket can (loud ish) helps with the flow i wasn't aware the needles aren't adjustable i was thinking more loke 104's but somebody told me i can go as big as 110 not sure don't wanna kill the engine just for the sake of it

if its bit more flowing the stainless system, micron, predator or somethin maybee try a 98? whats standard in the h1's? 96 odd?
Id probs put that rubber snorkel back on if your using a standard filter tho dude,is it running smooth at around 10k with it off? they normally stutter at around 10k even if you forget to put the 4 littlebungs back in
like ya say you dont wanna go to big just for the sake of it, it will just run shiet and give you less power.

actually it runs better without the snorkel pulls nice all the way to 14k i readjusted the mixture a bit 2,1/2 1 and 4 and 2,3/4 3 and 4 the jets are 98 but will try 102's the filter is stock (well cleaned) and a straight thru can i thought that 110's may be toooo much
