A relatively warm day today so I finally got a chance to wash my bike. It's not the weather and road salt that's damaged my gleaming pristine bike though...

There are scratches all down the LHS with some cracks in the fairing, and the fuel tap is missing!

Over Christmas the bike was parked at my girlfriends flat in the communal car park, and some cock must have knocked it off the stand and picked it back up again. The damage isn't major - but a note and offer to repair it would have been nice?!

I'm sure it was an accident - most likely some twat reversing into the space my bike was in, but what do I do now?

We don't really speak much to anyone else who lives there or even see them much, but do you think it's even worth trying to ask around? And if I do then what?

I'm a little bit pissed off.

That's even more of a pisser that I've survived all the shitty ice only to find some dickhead has dropped it for me! :smt013

however, your note could claim that you have cctv footage/witnesses and that you're just asking for the guilty party to come forward before calling the police ?

maybe worth havein a sneaky look at the cars that park there and see if theres any fresh scratches/marks on them or traces of youre paintwork
