All I want is a head gasket and rings to freshen up an engine.

The problem is the bike is a H and the engine is an L.

I've got an engine no, it shouldn't be a problem but I've been trying for 3 weeks now and I've yet to find some one with a brain that can order me an L1 head gasket and rings. It can't be that difficult.

If somebody out there has a new head gasket to sell I'll have it. Rings to would be nice and maybe a camchain.

I've emailed Anchor Kawasaki, no reply.
and cradley kawasaki, no reply.
The rocket centre rang me back and promised to email me prices and availability, but then didn't bother.
Seastar rang me back 3 days ago and I've heard nothing since.
The bike shops here on the Isle of Man are hopeless apart from the yamaha dealer who I'll be ringing in the morning as a last resort. I wouldn't mind but even when you give somebody a part number they don't even ring back.

Your mission should you accept it is to get me the bits so the bike can be rebuilt and dynoed and tested before March 15th which is my first race.

:please

Cheers

Mark

Doug hacking kawasaki in bolton aren't much better.

Ordered 2 bolts for my KLR and one of them was the wrong one! However being in a rush that day i simply paid for them stuck em in my pocket and shot home, only to find out at home as i opened the packaging it wasnt even a KLR bolt let alone the right one! Meant i had to wait another week as the only place they could get another one from was holland!

yes that seems to have worked, although I had to ring a few times to get through. Must be the only busy bike shop in the country!

Yes because they were too busy falling over themselves sending me half my order!

To be fair though I rang up straight away :smt014 and I'll be getting the rest posted at their cost. The guy in the parts department is alright but I think he'll be giving somebody a telling off for not reading the picking list properly :smt018

Anyway thanks for getting me to ring them as all the others have been hopeless, and I got my parts straight away too.

Cheers

+1 for cradley, they are awsome, and the guys behind the parts counter will help you as much as they can. i think they do well there because they charge good prices and the guys know what they are talking about.
