JUST LOOKING AT MY CARBS AND THE MAIN JETS ARE #102 ALL THE WAY ALONG, IM SURE IVE READ SOMEWHERE ABOUT STAGGERING THEM? ARE THEY BETTER TO BE STAGGERED OR LEFT HOW THEY ARE? ALSO IF THEY ARE BETTER STAGGERED I TAKE IT THAT IT WOULD GO #98 #102 #98 #102? AS #98 IS STANDARD? THANKS

have you borrowed that other lads keyboard with the dodgy capslock key? :smt002
i think the idea with staggering jets is to run the 'hotter' cylinders richer. richer being cooler. so you would run the inner 'hotter' two slightly bigger mains.
we tried it on my engine and it was'nt as good. I think it makes a difference on the v4 hondas, cos the rear two do run hotter.

hi mate havent got the new carbs, according to the bloke i bought them off parcelforce have lost them, so im going to replace a few of the jets in mine that are chewed up and my mixture screws as the pointy ends are bent on a couple of them, i alsp realise the spring that goes on the centre of the diaphram was upside down, i.e the platic bit that holds the needles in place was on the top instead of the bottom so the needle could bonce around allit liked, would this cause my problems?
