Insurance: Legalised Theft.

Just moved house, from a flat, with my bikes and car parked on the street, no security,
to a lovely semi-detatched house with a private road, driveway and stashage for my toys.
(I had to get away from my neighbours!!)
Car insurance rebate : £45 after their admin fees. (Yay!!)
ZX6R Insurance swop: rebate of £22 due, but after £15 admin fees getting £7 back (Yay!!)
ER6N insurance: They would like me to pay them £82 please. WHAT?!!??!!?!?!
this is after I paid them £70 last month when I got the ER6N and swopped my CRM250 policy across and upgrade to fully comp.
So I told them I shall be contacting the insurance ombudsman, as I believe they are trying to extort me. They said I must be lying about my other vehicles, so when I got the new docs for the other 2 vehicles in the post today, I faxed across the info, and I just had a phone call now:
Miss K? Yes, we received your fax, and administration error meant we mis-quoted you for your change of address and circumstances, yes, there will be a £25 rebat due, but £25 administration charge applies to all changes of policy, and therefore we will get that swopped over immediately for you. Once again, many apologies. Thank you."
But how many people would have just paid it and grumbled, I wonder?
