Hi,

6 pot tokicos are the biggest pile of skunk of calipers i've ever known. Back when I was 17, I used to have a Hyosung Cruise II and even them brakes were better (1 pot caliper :smt003 ) I would advise everyone not to buy them as they are the worst upgrade in brakes for the ZXR. Personally I wouldn't even use them for racing. And.... if you think about it, they're not exactly light are they? They're heavier then the 4 pots. Makes the front end feel heavy in bends... and wheelies are a lil bit harder :P

Regards

Rich

these are cbr600fx calipers on my zxr400.
you have to file i lttle bit of the caliper, but nothing major.
and use gsxr rear disc bolts to mount them. (m8 thread, as apposed to m10 on zxr calipers) the gsxr rear disc bolts have a 10mm shoulder with a m8 thread.

with the zxr400 master cylinder and DP race pads, it lifts the rear wheel rather easily! :smt003

the calipers are the same as sp1, and early blades i think.

Hi,

Thank you simmo, just what I was after. Now... where about do you have to file the caliper? if it's not too much trouble, could you stick a photo up as I'm really interested in fitting these now. Also, is there alot of travel on the lever?

Regards

Rich

ill take a photo tomorro, but its not hard to do.

the play in the lever is the same, BUT you only have to touch the lever and they are working very well,

its hard to exlain, because the lever feels really toad when you just pull it when the bike is stationary, but when your riding you only have to touch the lever and its wanting to lift the rear.

I kinda expected an obvious answer!

So its not a case of splitting the calipers then :)
