The guy that was trying to help me said (to quote) " hang of like a monkey!" so I did .... and it worked :smt003

It's all about confidence aswell. I was unsure of if my front end would stick, as I have been having problems with it (in my mind anyway) so he had a go and was knee down straight away and said the fornt was fine. Just don't push too hard. The 400 is a great bike for knee down!!

The bloke rides a 1098 on track btw shocking

Wish i could get rid of my chicken strips :smt010 , but haveing said that, if i can get me knee down and not use all the tyre, then i'm keeping it on the fatter part so therefore have more grip :smt003 , or is this me just not wanting to admit to being a pussy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sofa

You are a little cat :smt003 putting it nicely.

The wife :smt018 always comments why I need to get my knee down as I'm not on a race track. I always tell her I have to get the tyre scrubbed in all the way to the edge just incase I need it in a emergency!! :smt003

I was a bit jealous of your knee down action as it's been a couple of months for me now! Went out last night to give it a blast.

Unfortunately my tleather trousers are too tight for me (i usually where one piece but i ruined that) anyway after a good ride and some heat in the tyres i ended up sooo close to touching down on a roundabout, but got cramp in my left leg due to said trousers :ffs had to move my leg and nearly washed out the front end :wanker

Think its time to clean those trousers :tease then search for some larger ones lol

Jeppo - That's the most long winded excuse for not getting a knee down I've ever heard! :pmsl

My knee sliders are as shiny as the day I bought them. I need to find somewhere safe to practise. :smt017

My excuse for not working on getting a knee down and scraping the ol' sliders... is that I don't have any sliders, and I like my knees.

winks
