There is only one manual for the ZXR400..................and it's on this site

http://www.zxrworld.co.uk/zxr400/manual.html

You can buy hard copies but they are expensive if you want I'll burn you a copy onto a disc

Haynes and Clymer both chose to ignore the ZXR 400 .................pity really cos it would have sold well

Oh and don't buy cheap pattern service kits they are cheap for a reason..................buy proper Kawasaki service parts and save money in the long run

oil you can get from one of the websites sponsors, Opie oils, including the filter. They are running a discount over bank holiday and if you register with zxr world then youll get a further discount!

see here viewtopic.php?f=47&t=5764&start=15

They will do you oil for just under 30 quid and an oil filter is a fiver. No sure about postage tho.....

Plugs from ebay (CR9EK) no more than 30 quid. The iridium plugs (CR9EIX) are nearer 40 but just seen some for 32 quid delivered but not really worth extra expense.

Thats 15 quid ive just saved you, and that before the Opie oil discount, and thats just quickly looking around.

80 is alot of money for just those 3 items, id shop around a bit more.

Brian if you get the parts and oil sorted I'd be more than happy to come and help. I'll not do it just keep you right.................or if you like you can come here to my workshop.
Either way it's a freebe..................................maybe one day you'll have a much bigger job to do and I'll get a bit of a turn then

yes cargo that would be great. am looking forward to doing that.
bloody thing broke down on me last night. put my new battery in on thursday and all was well until it died on me last night about a mile from home.
batt was dead, it started from jump and got half way home and died again. so it must be alternator i think. so that would mean i got about 12 miles before batt
died. have batt on charge again now

could be your regulator/rectifier mate, more common for them to go than the alt.
