I know not too many of you are from the sunny part of the UK :smt002 but does anyone know a good place to get a frame, swing arm, wheels etc powder coated?
Also sand blasting would be good, but I may have that sorted.

Rob, you got all your bits done recently didn't you? You're fairly local to me I think so where did you go? And if you don't mind, roughly how much was it?

Cheers

Oh and what lovely summer's day!

I used a place called nationwide coatings in Berkshire. I got my frame, swingarm, and wheels done for about £200 (I can't really remember now), which did seem on the steep side, but I rang round every place I could find and they quoted the best, and the coating seems good.

I got a 400/4 frame, swingarm and rear mudgaurd sandblasted at a place in Colchester called Impact Coatings, it cost me £20.00. I know they do powder coating as well but not show how much they would charge.

I got mine done by a company called custom whytelyne in Luton (Kent, not bedford ;) )

Good people to deal with i found, standard of finish wasnt 'that' great but was good enough for me. Got everything in the pic powdercoated black for 120 quid, that included sandblasting too. Should have been 180 quid, but managed to get a favour ;)

Bear in mind the wheels werent done, they didnt do the colour i wanted. I had them done seperately by Lepsons in Gillingham

Highly reccomend those for wheels :) Really good service too.

Also, prices may have gone up aswell as i had mine done about 5 years ago now.
