Anyone else find that after a long ride the black clip thingy that clips the speedo cable to the front mudguard always pops out? :smt017

Or is it just mine? :smt001

once these have been pulled out they never stay in again, try bending the the tabs when you've pushed ity through the muddy.

I've given them a slight push but didn't want it to snap.

I was wondering if there should be an insert that goes into the back? Like those little pop-lock things you get on cars sometimes, where you push the whole thing in then push a middle section further to open the 4 lock tabs?

Standard routine after putting the bike away seems to be to reattach this part now :smt003

same here matey. ones for the brake lines like to pop out too. Mines not too bad tho, i bought them new when i was doing the bike up. You could superglue them in.

I think I might have a go putting some gunk of sorts in there, wasn't too keen to begin with as I didn't want it to stick to the paint and not the mudguard :smt001

Silicone isn't a bad idea as it's a bit more rubbery to give some flex.

Went down to have a look on Sunday and thought, 'Hmm... what's this black cack.. It's a bit wet'

Damn Fork Seal has gone.... :smt013 (otherside to the one that went last time.. )

Thankfully as it's the left one the bike leans to that side so any oil has missed the brakes this time and not contaminated the pads...

Ho hum... out comes the chaotic jacking system to get the front end off.
