Fuel Leak!

Post by Brett »

I know it's not a zxr, but this is a generic question.
On the bottom left of the tank by the seat it's been filled and sprayed over and is now leaking fuel slightly, well it's more oil residue from the filler seeping out at the moment, with a very slight petrol smell. Is there anything I can slap over the top to keep it all in check?

chewing gum, looks a mess but works.

then either get your tank brazed or replaced.

Chewing gum sounds good and cheap. It's not a bad leak, but WILL get worse. The other stuff sounds costly?
